El Camagüey has anchored this corner of Venice Blvd for over three decades, named for the Camagüey province in Cuba. Inside, narrow aisles carry hard to find ingredients from the Caribbean, Central America and South America, regional sodas, specialty hot sauces, grains and spices you will not find at a regular supermarket.
At the center of it all is the carnicería, a full service meat counter known for custom cuts and house marinated carne asada, alongside a deli counter of prepared Latin American staples. A small parking lot, rare on Venice Blvd, keeps it an easy stop for shoppers from Venice, Culver City, Mar Vista, and West LA.
